No current laptop has a video-in port as far as I know. A few years ago, the Lenovo IdeaPad Y730 had a VGA port that could take video in and out, making it possible to use the monitor for, say, a PS3.

I mean, the monitor uses most of the power anyway, so I may insulate the back of the screen (maybe corrugated plastic or aluminum to allow some radiant heat loss) and then velcro the bits and wires to the back.
