Jan 23, 2014 · I managed to have a Linksys Wireless Mini USB Adapter AC580 Dual Band running on Mavericks 10.9.1. This Wifi USB dongle is not officially supported on Mac by Cisco/Linksys yet but it will probably come later this year. This dongle has a Ralink MT7610U chip on it. Ralink (now Mediatek) released a Mavericks compatible driver on 11/29/2013. My router stopped working today, and when I called Linksys tech support, they said that they don't support Mac. I went back to the amazon website and now they don't say anything about Mac. When you input your WEP key in Mac OS, you can choose if your input is 5 or 10 digit (40 or 128 bit), and whether it is HEX or ascii. This should match you router input. I'm not running the default linksys firmware on my router, by I seem to recall that 10 digit HEX is default.
