The DD-WRT community is one of the major drives behind the project. Lots of supporters around the world are giving feedback on new versions and helping other users with issues that arise. At this place we also want to thank all the active members of the DD-WRT community that are actively supporting the project and the DD-WRT community.

Apr 24, 2020 · DD-WRT firmware is chock full of amazing features that are typically reserved for enterprise and business-class networking devices. The first of which is the ability to terminate a VPN connection. If you already have a VPN provider like ExpressVPN or PIA VPN, you can make your router the VPN endpoint to your advantage. Buffalo's AirStation AC 1750 Gigabit Dual Band Open Source DD-WRT Wireless Router is a high speed, open source dual band solution, delivering the latest in Wi-Fi technology. Dec 15, 2017 · DD-WRT is Linux-based firmware for routers, comparable to Linux for PCs, originally designed for exclusively for the Linksys WRT54G router series. Today, it's installed on many different routers On a Gigabit router (with WAN port 0) it would look like this: nvram set port5vlans="1 2 103 16" nvram set port4vlans="103 18 19 21" NVRAM vlan#hwname. This ensures each vlan is initialized properly. There must be one for each vlan. The gui never adds these variables as of today. You must do this to ensure DD-WRT features all work correctly. I had the same problem with DD-WRT slowing down my gigabit wireless so I switched to a Merlin build (looks very similar to the stock firmware) and that solved the problem. Merlin's philosophy is to be stable first, then add features. Whereas DD-WRT is all about features and less about speed/stability in my opinion. For those looking for a complete list or search features by hardware specs we are working on extending the router database to provide these features. In the meantime there is the Supported Device List in the DD-WRT wiki that provides you most of these information. But please take care - everybody can edit the information there so we cannot
